  • Nansha Hub Cluster: A central business district promoting financial services, professional services, and headquarters functions.

  • Qingsheng Hub Cluster: Targeting advanced manufacturing and logistics industries.

  • Nansha Bay Cluster: A mixed-use development zone encompassing tourism, commerce, and cultural facilities.

  • Jiaomen River Central Cluster: A multi-functional zone integrating ecological preservation with commercial development.

  • Wanqingsha Bonded Port Manufacturing Cluster: Dedicated to export-oriented manufacturing activities within a bonded zone.

Policy Advantages:

The Nansha FTZ benefits from a range of preferential policies aimed at attracting foreign investment and promoting economic activity. These include:

  • Simplified trade and customs clearance procedures.

  • Reduced tax rates for qualified enterprises.

  • Greater financial liberalization and innovation.

  • Relaxed visa and immigration policies for foreign talent.

Economic Focus:

The Nansha FTZ prioritizes the development of several key industries:

  • Modern manufacturing, with a focus on high-tech sectors like biomedicine, new energy vehicles, and robotics.

  • Modern service industries, encompassing finance, professional services, healthcare, and education.

  • Trade and logistics, leveraging the Nansha Port and its proximity to Hong Kong and Macau.

Future Development:

The Nansha FTZ is envisioned as a key driver of economic growth in Guangzhou and the Guangdong province.  Its future development plans emphasize:

  • Continued infrastructure development, including port expansion and improved transportation links.

  • Fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in high-tech sectors.

  • Attracting foreign investment and multinational corporations.

  • Strengthening its role as a regional trade and logistics hub.

Overall, the Nansha Free Trade Zone is a significant economic development zone in China, leveraging its strategic location, preferential policies, and focus on advanced industries to attract investment and drive economic growth.
